The Appalachian Community offers specialized experiences for youth and families wanting to fully experience activities indigenous to the peoples of Appalachia. These educational activities will be challenging yet provide in depth educational experiences to all the participants.

Both Sunburst Rafting and The Lost Sea are activities which are provided by the Appalachian Community. Due to their schedule, your group will need to contact Sunburst Rafting and the The Lost Sea directly. These activities are for groups on eight day or extended mission teams only. Be sure to let their staff know that you are on an Appalachian Youth Missions Team and you may receive a special discount. All arrangements need to be made with there staff. Early reservations usually result in lower rates. PLEASE COORDINATE ALL SCHEDULING WITH US. We recommend choosing either Sunburst Rafting or the Lost Sea.
