Scott Morgan took these pictures shortly after George's abduction since neither of the investigating officers arriving on the scene had a camera. These pictures were taken outside "God Wins House," office to Appalachian Youth Missions.

The officer in this picture is a Tellico Plains Police Officer, one of the first of two officers to respond. As you can see the officer is taking a nap after he arrived on the scene. Tellico Police were alerted by a neighbor in a police report 38 days before the attack on George. Two male subjects were listed in that report. Two male subjects were directly involved in the attack on George.

This picture shows the lacerations and trauma to George's head, face and body and the pain he was in from attempts on his life. The Tellico Plains Police Department has shown little interest in arresting the men responsible. Please pray daily with us for these law enforcement officers.

This shows where George used his hand to block his face from being cut with a knife. Notice the dried blood on George's hands from the two hour struggle.

This picture was taken at the Sweetwater Hospitial. Neither the District Attorney nor the Monroe County Sheriff has ever questioned George about the abduction or about his injuries. Please pray with us for both our dristrict Attorney's office and The Monroe County Sheriffs Department.

Pray that God will send God-fearing men and women to work side by side as peace officers, lawyers and judges in our communities.

George signifying his deliverance after being released from The University Of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. It was difficult for George to talk but his tears showed his appreciation to the hospital staff.

A few days later George was back at "God Wins House." AYM Council members and friends stayed with George around the clock suspecting that another attempt might be made on his life.

George suffered several deep gashes like this one and a lot of missing skin from his face and body later resulting in scar tissue.
Two weeks after George's abduction evidence still shows where George's captor tried to gouge his eyes out.

These are the remains of the flashlight George carried out to initially help someone in distress. George's abductor apparently did not tolerate the flashlight or the cordless telephone that George carried. Both were destroyed immediately by his abductor.
